So Mom is not doing as good as she was....somehow along the way on Saturday evening...she took a step in the wrong direction....She was very nauseous and not able to rest....after a long night the Grannies took her to the ER...where they admitted her Sunday am. She has had a long 3 days trying to get her tummy settled....apparently after surgery your intestines have to start all over again....well hers did...but apparently some piece (ILIS???)fell asleep again...so she had to start the whole not eating and liquid diet over again. She felt wretched Saturday and Sunday...she is doing much better today....but they told her to expect to stay a few more days as they are not going to let her go home until she gets all the way back to solid food and tolerates that!!! Well since she has now been on nothing but IV since Sunday that is a longer road than she wants it to be!!! Keep her in your thoughts....she is not used to being the patient!!!! And I suck so bad as the nurse they wouldn't let me stay with her when we were up there this weekend!!!
We did have a good time at the reunion....saw lots of folks and enjoyed catching up with everyone!! Hope to post some photos later....gotta go get ready for another day!!!
