Happy Groundhog's Day!!!

Punxatawney Phill said 6 more weeks of winter.....but it doesn't feel like 6 more weeks of winter here today. After 3 days of 50 mph winds, it is nice to have a sunny day. It is so nice my boys are outside in shorts!! That may be a bit optimistic...but they are out enjoying the sun and watching the guys replace our 2 dead trees...Thank Heavens for people who stand behind their products!!! The golf course is replacing them free of charge!!! YEAH!!!!

We have been moving around the dining room, hanging a few things and putting up some of our "newly acquired items from our Bankrupt neighbors". Things look a little different around here and if Barry comes up next week with the items we talked about...things should be looking "Homey" around here!!!

I am also transferring all our home videos to DVD....that is a time consuming process....but will be worth it in the long run. I did the entire set over the summer....but did not realize I had to "finalize" each one when they are done....so I paniced and started over. Just for kicks I put in an old one and tried to finalize it and it WORKED....so we will have 2 copies of our home videos. YEAH!!! at least all the work was not lost!!!

Just one thing on my mind today and that is the issue of the NFL not allowing churches to show the "MAN PIG SKIN GAME" tomorrow!!! First, not sure why churches want to....but whatever!!! I do believe the NFL will make enough flippin money tomorrow (let alone the whole rest of the season) that is should not matter that each person who watches is not watching on their own tv...COME ON!!! They seem to be ok with bars showing the game....so how are they taking head counts there??? What about all the people who have parties and watch together???? Is the big bad NFL Gestapo going to "raid" these? or better yet...show up and charge you for watching? GREED GREED GREED!!! Of all the places in the world to worry if there is enough money....NFL is the last place I give a rats tush about!!! I may not even watch the commericals tomorrow....just to show them...but then I would miss the cute Budweiser Dalamation commerical that is sure to debut!!!
